Cane-Yo is a global artists' collective that was formed online through open chats, shared sketchbooks and the free exchange of ideas. Here, figurative painting, drawing and digital media are informed by the blur between screen culture and traditional art-making: the internet's flatness, speed and saturation are translated into the slow, tactile act of hand-made image. Across generations and time zones, fleeting digital archives, screens of memory, taste and friendship, are rendered into physical works that reflect on the ephemeral.
